Launched in 2018, Editors Barrie represents Editors Canada’s newest twig. Too small to be considered a branch just yet, we are a growing community of working editors dedicated to professional standards. While our connections are usually virtual, Editors Barrie aims to build community, offer networking opportunities, and maintain professionalism. The twig hosts guest speakers, delivers interactive workshops, and provides connections through mentorship. In addition, Editors Barrie has built strong connections with our local libraries and has played an active role in the local author book fair while featuring hands-on editing workshops for the public.
